When revising for Higher geography it is important to have a clear plan – there is a lot of topics to revise and try to make a timetable so you are chunking up revision (not revising all the topics at once). Do not try to cram it all into the last minute – this is very risky!!
There are two key areas to work on: course knowledge + exam technique (command words/timed conditions – past papers really help with this).

Exam Layout
Paper 1:
Physical Environments (atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere) = 50 marks.
Human Environments (rural, urban, population) = 50 marks.
Paper 2:
Global Issues (Climate Change + Development and Health) = 40 marks (20 for each).
Geographical Skills = 20 marks.
Study Support is Thursday after school in SOC 2.
